Repertoire

The repertoire of Spiritful Voices Community Choir is as varied as the backgrounds and ages of the choir’s singers. In fact, year after year, our audiences, participants, and performance sponsors consistently rank our diverse variety of music as the most appealing aspect of our community chorus. From Broadway show tunes to classical sacred works, from popular "Top 40" hits to songs from the Big Band Era, from patriotic selections to jazz, and from American folk songs to gospel music, Spiritful Voices Community Choir fills each unique concert with a varied and eclectic program season after season. The selection of a season’s repertoire, therefore, is the most critical and fundamentally strategic aspect of our northwest Oklahoma City community chorus. To assist in this vitally important process and to ensure consistency and adherence to the choir’s primary tenets, Spiritful Voices Community Choir adheres to a strict set of established criteria in choosing repertoire for each and every new season.

Spiritful Voices Community Choir, Inc., owns and maintains its own vast library of choral and instrumental music, consisting of more than 700 songs with nearly 30,000 individual choral octavos.
